Are you on Facebook? I'm a black woman just getting into cycling and when I was looking to find any black people to support in the sport, I was shocked and annoyed that there are only a few. I think this would be a great sport to get minority children in shape, into something that can require great endurance and concentration, and I'm just really annoyed that there isn't more minority representation. dont be annoyed… there are plenty of people of color competing and enjoying cycling… its just hard to know about them, as it is hard to know about anything in cycling unless you dig and dig… i tell everyone to play baseball, its not that demanding physically and you get more famous and paid better…
